Robert Sterling Lefler, of Knoxville, Tenn., died May 7. in Knoxville. He was 69. Born Aug. 11, 1938, in Fairfield, he was a 1956 Staples High School graduate and served in the U.S. Navy before receiving his bachelor?s degree from Transylvania University in Lexington, Ky.
