Duck blind drawing date set (The Leaf Chronicle)

The 2008-09 hunting season will kick off Saturday morning with the statewide drawings for public duck blind sites at wildlife management areas controlled by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency set dates and locations for duck blind drawings in West Tennessee for the TWRA's Wildlife Management Areas, according to the TWRA.

OUTDOOR REPORTS (The Leaf Chronicle)

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reports that most of the wildlife management areas in West Tennessee have been planted with corn and other crops to serve as food for waterfowl this winter. The WMAs with planted corn include Camden, Big Sandy, West Sandy, Gin Creek and Barkley Unit I.
